Deleting your b-tarikak account

How to delete your account
In the app:
1. Open حسابي (Account) from the bottom navigation bar.
2. Scroll to حذف الحساب (Delete account).
3. Confirm in the dialog.
Your account is disabled immediately and you are logged out.
If you cannot open the app — you lost the device, or you can no longer sign
in — email support@b-tarikak.de from the address the account is registered
under, and ask for it to be deleted. We will confirm once it is done.
What happens straight away
- You are signed out everywhere, and all sign-in sessions are revoked.
- Every trip you had published is cancelled, so nobody can send new
requests to it.
- You cannot sign in again.
What is deleted, and when
Within 30 days — the recovery window. The account is disabled but not yet
erased. During this time you can get it back by registering again with the same
email address. Your published trips and conversations do not come back.
After 30 days — permanent erasure. An automatic job (it runs every hour)
erases the personal data on the account:

Records of trips, requests and conversations are kept because they are the
record of dealings between two people: a dispute, a report, or a legal
obligation can outlive one side's account, and the other person's history would
otherwise be rewritten by your deletion. After erasure those records no longer
identify you.
Other data, and how long it is kept
- IP address recorded with feedback you sent — deleted automatically after
90 days, whether or not you delete your account.
- Error records kept for diagnosing faults — deleted automatically after 30
days.
- Aggregate counters (how often an advert was shown, which routes were
searched) contain no user identifier at all, so there is nothing in them to
delete or to link back to you.
