Terms of Service — b-tarikak

1. The service
b-tarikak is a platform that connects travelers with senders who want to
send small personal items. We are an intermediary only: we are not a
carrier, courier, or party to any agreement between users. Arrangements,
handover, and any payment happen directly between users, off the platform.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your
credentials secure.
- One person, one account. Impersonation is prohibited.
3. Acceptable use & prohibited items
You agree not to send, carry, request, or advertise anything illegal or
restricted, including but not limited to: weapons, drugs and controlled
substances, cash/monetary instruments, hazardous materials, counterfeit goods,
perishable/illegal food, living animals, or anything violating customs/export
laws of the origin or destination country. You are solely responsible for the
legality of items and for customs/duties.
Also prohibited: harassment, fraud, scams, and posting phone numbers or
external links in public fields (the app blocks obvious contact info to reduce
off-platform scams).
4. User responsibilities
- Travelers decide what they accept and are responsible for what they
physically carry across borders.
- Senders are responsible for the contents, accurate description, and
legality of their items.
- Users should verify each other's identity and agree terms before any
handover. The "verified" badge is a trust signal, not a guarantee.
5. Cancellations & conduct
Trips and requests may be cancelled per the in-app rules. Repeatedly cancelling
trips that have active agreements (3×) results in a ban from creating trips
and messaging; contact support to appeal.
6. No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are
not liable for the acts of users, lost/damaged/seized items, failed handovers,
or any indirect damages. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law
(e.g. intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health under German
law).
7. Content & reports
You retain rights to content you post but grant us a license to display it
within the service. We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that
violate these terms or the law. Abuse can be reported in-app.
8. Advertising
Some listings/banners may be promoted ("مميّز"). Advertising is arranged
off-app; advertisers are responsible for their content.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these terms or discontinue the service. You may stop using and
delete your account at any time.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by German law. Where you are a consumer, this does not
deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions — including the courts
available to you — under the law of your country of residence.
